Based out of Fort Stockton, Texas, TransPecos is an independent mud logging company, focused in West Texas and New Mexico. We attribute our success to continually providing accurate and reliable data, being attentive to our customer?s needs, having experienced and knowledgeable personnel, and very hard work.

TransPecos has experienced significant growth over the past 15 years, which can be directly linked to our personnel. All our staff prides themselves in building lasting relationships with clientele, by consistently providing accurate and dependable data.

We have three members on our management team who offer over 70 years in combined well site experience, and two field supervisors / technicians who directly over see field operations on a daily basis. Having five people on call 24/7 ensures that our operations run smoothly, and all data collected during a well is uncompromised.

All of our loggers have passed a rigorous training process covering: mud logging procedure, formation evaluation, instrumentation, and basic drilling engineering concepts. Half of our loggers average over 9 ½ years experience with the other half ranging between 1 and 3 years. We have compiled a group of loggers who pride themselves in the quality of their work, and they are without a doubt our most valuable asset.

We use mainlog for our logging software. Some of the advantages to mainlog are listed below.

Mainlog incorporates 5?, 2?, and 1? logs into one file. This includes horizontal capability. One attachment = Three logs (Four if Horizontal)
Export to LAS or PDF format; create .bmp, .jpg or .tif files, from any/each mudlog sent.
