Quality Bioresources, Inc. provides custom lyophilization and manufacturing services to clients worldwide. With seven industrial freeze dryers ranging in size from 30 L to 300 L condenser capacity, we handle projects from small runs or development work to large production runs of vialed or bulk products. All procedures are conducted according to ISO 13485, FDA, and cGMP.

The company was founded in April, 1992 by Claudia Briell, President and Technical Director, and Marc Henriquez, Director of Production. QBI is licensed by USDA and Texas Department of State Health Services.
QBI has recently expanded its operations. We have purchased and remodeled an 11,500 square feet building that is directly across the street from our original location. The new annex is equipped with two class 100,000 manufacturing areas with two operational lyophilizers, a new lab, packaging area and climate controlled warehousing. Ample room remains for the addition of more lyophilizers and production areas as needed.

With a new annex ,just finished, we now have two facilities offering 11,000 square feet of production area, and 700+ square feet of lyophilizer shelf space. Our facilities are fully equipped with four Class 100,000 manufacturing areas, two class 100 laminar flow hoods, a Class II biological safety cabinet, depyrogenation ovens, walk-in freezer, walk-in cooler, ultra-low freezer, a Karl-Fischer moisture analyzer, UV/Vis Spectrophotometers, incubators, water baths, centrifuges, a West capper and an autoclave. Many other standard pieces of laboratory equipment are also in our inventory. We now have 4,000+ square feet of climate controlled warehousing.

We have a wealth of experience in lyophilization of sensitive enzymes, diagnostic products, pharmaceutical intermediates and cosmetic ingredients. With this knowledge we can assist in lyophilization cycle development and optimization. Additional services include powder fills, liquid fills, packaging, labeling and kitting. We pride ourselves in having the experience and equipment available to meet most every customer's needs.
