Greg Abrams opened The Abrams Seafood in the spring of 1990 with a vision of delivering Panama City and Surrounding Areas the finest seafood. A Lifetime of Fishing and years of experience dealing with and grading seafood, Greg verifies every order he creates and ships with his extensive knowledge and passion for perfection. Although Greg started in a small office/warehouse and he maintained the quality of seafood demanded by retailers and restaurants in the Panama City, Bay County Area. Greg expanded his business in 2000 after purchase of the Tarpon Dock location.

However, he never lost sight of his passion for delivering the finest seafood in the southeast, it was time to expand and ship seafood all over the United States with his own fleet of trucks so every aspect from catching the seafood to package and shipping on his trucks was quality controlled...there was no doubt when it arrived in New York, or Maine it was of the quality he expected and demanded. He knew that in order to catch and distribute the premium quality seafood he wanted to share with the world he would need experienced Captains for his fleet of vessels, adding the best technology available to assist the Captains and crew find and land the seafood, and return to the Tarpon Dock port, maintaining the freshest quality and taste.

It was at the time of the move that he decided to open a retail market. Many friends, relatives, and even customers from other markets implored him to sale at a retail level the seafood he was catching so they also might enjoy the same quality and value in their homes as they did in the restaurants through out the southeast area.

When he opened the Tarpon Dock headquarters, and the Tarpon Dock Market he vowed to only sell the finest and freshest seafood, and prepare each order as if it were going to his own table.
