Eutaw Construction Company is named for the strong eutaw clay which is prevalent in northeast Mississippi. Thomas S. Elmore, company founder and president, came to Aberdeen, Mississippi as an employee of Granite Construction Company. His capacity at Granite was Project Manager overseeing the construction of the Aberdeen Lock and Dam built on the Tennessee-Tombigbee Waterway.

Eutaw's heavy equipment assets provide the capability of moving between 50,000 and 100,000 cubic yards of dirt per day depending on the length of haul, site conditions and type of material. From a small, humble beginning to now performing large scale projects with a fleet of equipment valued at approximately $35 million, Eutaw's professionals deliver a quality project on time and in accordance with specifications and within budget.

Eutaw Construction provides municipalities, state and federal agencies and the private sector with reliable, professional heavy construction services. Our experience over the past 27 years includes hundreds of miles of state and federal highways, utility projects, large-scale site construction, demolition and disaster relief.
