About Ericco and our services

Ericco is a multigenerational family owned business that was founded in 1976 by George Erickson. Originally a tool and die shop with an emphasis on special machines, it has evolved into a sizable manufacturing facility that employs up to 50 people. Located in a rural setting in Northwest Minnesota, we have 30,500 square feet of manufacturing and office space and 14,450 square feet of warehouse space. We Supply our customers with production machining, stamping and forming to specific designs. We are capable in producing parts from bar stock, extrusions, castings and forgings. Including vertical and horizontal machining centers, Ericco has over 25 CNC machines, the largest with an X travel of 66" and Y travel of 25". We also have numerous support machines. We are able to machine, stamp and form parts as is needed by our customers. With two large furnaces we have the capability to form aluminum at a low temper and then heat treat to increase temper and tensile strength.

In our state of the art inspection lab we are fully updated with the latest technology. We offer inspection methodologies from mechanical to automated CMMs. The largest of our CMM's will measure parts up to 96" long. With these we can import CAD models and take the measurements and tolerances directly from the CAD model. We also offer laser scanning capabilities with the use of a FARO arm. With this, actual profile tolerances can be measured against a CAD model. Locations on formed parts along with forging and or casting verifications can be done in a matter of minutes.
