Cliff's Crane & Equipment Repair is a growing business based in Casper, Wyoming, servicing the needs of customers all around the state, and is expanding to meet the needs of the crane industry throughout the Rocky Mountain Region.






Our goal is to provide quality service, meeting and exceeding the industry standards. We are proud to offer the services of our highly qualified mechanics, and our certified crane inspectors, all of whom are dedicated to quality and safety. We are also MSHA qualified.

We are authorized distributors for Cranesmart, Weldco-Hydralift, Lube-a-boom, IMT, CASECO and EnPak.

Our History

Cliff's Crane and Equipment Repair was founded in 1985 by Cliff Hobza. He spent the next 25+ years specializing in mobile crane repair and growing in experience with a variety of makes and models of mobile cranes, overhead cranes, hoists, lifts, service truck mounted cranes, and boom trucks. He became a leader in the changing industry, continuing to adhere to OEM standards and keeping customers up-to-date on the current federal regulations governing the industry. Cliff set the bar high with his reputation of commitment to safety, integrety, honesty and hard work.



Cliff has worked hand in hand with Richard Miles for the past 9 years, passing on a wealth of knowledge. Richard is a certified mobile and overhead crane inspector and is efficient in the breakdown of crane mechanics. In January of 2013 Richard became a partner of Cliff's Crane & Equipment Repair where he will continue his commitment to Cliff's philosophy of quality, honesty, and safety.

Cliff's Crane & Equipment Repair is now owned and operated by Clifford Hobza and Richard Miles.
