The Allen Co. Ambulance Service is a Class 1 level service licensed by the Kentucky Board of E.M.S. We have been in continuous operation since 1979. As a Class 1 service we offer a full time (24/7) Advanced Life Support, Basic Life Support and Convalescent Service . We currently have 4 ambulances. We try to maintain the most modern and up to date equipment available. We do most of our continuing education training in house. We were the first ambulance service in Kentucky to have an up and running Medical Compliance program. We have a monthly Quality improvement program which holds our staff accountable for proper and legal treatment and also ensures that the treatment they are providing is within the scope of their license.
